RedCap

Red CapTM

  • Starter for Copefloc (copepod and rotifer) in high aeration system.
  • Natural source of synbiotics (Prebiotics + Probiotic) in situ.
  • Establishes zooplankton and biocolloids in situ prior to new stocking cycle.
  • Natural zooplankton (copepod) can be used as post larvae feed till juvenile stage.

Set up the Synbiotics facility

- Intensive culture :         10 cum3 (200 ppm)

Application for preparation before stocking:

  • Rice Bran :         2 kg (200 ppm at one time)
  • Red CapTM :           5 gram (2.5 gram per kilogram of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3 :               200 gram (10% base on total weight of rice bran)
  • Water :                    8 liter

-Make sure the tank is large enough (at least 3 times larger than the solution to be ferment).

-Ferment for at least 24 hours (stir well occasionally).

-Filter well and allow on the liquid to broadcast throughout the pond while aerations on.

-Filtered rice bran residue can be reprocess in the fermentation tank till dissolved or pulverize them into liquid.

-Stocking the new cycle after 5-7 days of initially dosage of synbiotics.

-Make sure the D.O. is above 5-6 ppm at all time.

-Make sure there is no dead spot in the pond.

Maintains natural live feed after stocking (Daily):

  • Pond Capacity :     10 cum3 (20 ppm)
  • Rice Bran :             200 g (20 ppm or 200 gram of rice bran per 10 cum3)
  • Red CapTM :          0.625 gram (2.5 gram per 1 kg of rice bran)
  • NaHCO3 :              20 gram (10% base on total weight of rice bran)
  • Water :                   1 liter

-Make sure the tank is large enough (at least 3 times larger than the solution to be ferment).

-Ferment for at least 24 hours (stir well occasionally).

-Filter well and allow only the liquid to release throughout the tank while aerations on.

-Filtered rice bran can be reprocess in the fermentation tank till dissolved or pulverize them into liquid.

-Make sure the pond D.O. is above 5-6 ppm at all time.

-Make sure there is no dead spot in the tank.
